Vintage Kamar 1963 President John F Kennedy w/Rocking Chair & Newspaper~ Works!Item is in very good Pre-owned condition. Does not have the original box, but has been very well kept. He is holding the original newspaper that came with it. His left shoe is cracked in the front, but is still in tact. The rocking chair has very minor wear, and the doll itself has very minor wear, and is wearing the original suit, and measures 12.5″ when standing. The music box (located underneath the chair with a crank pin) plays Happy Days Are Here Again, which is also the title of the featured article on the newspaper from the Herald Tribune. The rocking mechanism may need to be tinkered with, as it sometimes rocks the chair, and sometimes not. Produced by Kamar Incorporated in 1963 in Japan.
